Who we are
DROPTHAT is a music smart-link service: artists create one page per release, and their fans pick their streaming platform there. Data controller: [TO COMPLETE: publisher identity].
Data we collect
- Artist accounts: email, artist name, hashed password (or Google identifier), billing data processed by Stripe.
- Fans: email address when you voluntarily sign up on an artist's page (explicit consent checkbox).
- Statistics: view and click counters with approximate country (DROPTHAT builds no individual visitor profile).
How we use it
- Providing the service (public pages, dashboard, statistics).
- Passing fan emails to the relevant artist only — never sold or shared with anyone else.
- Subscription billing through Stripe.
Cookies
- On the main site: essential cookies only (artist login session). No advertising or third-party analytics cookies.
- On artist pages: if the artist enabled advertising tools (Meta, TikTok), a consent prompt is shown and those tools only load after you accept. You can refuse — the page works exactly the same. Your choice is remembered in your browser.
Artists' advertising tools
When accepted, Meta or TikTok tools set cookies governed by Meta's and TikTok's privacy policies, on behalf of the relevant artist.
Retention
Account data is kept for as long as the account exists. Fan emails are kept for as long as the artist keeps their release online.
Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to access, rectify, erase and object. To exercise these rights: [TO COMPLETE: contact email]. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
